AMELIA SMITH- LMT, CMLDT CT- #10234 RI- #02536

I am a graduate of The Community College of Rhode Island’s prestigious Therapeutic Massage Therapy Program and am a certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist trained in the Vodder technique through Klose Training.

My broad education includes training in Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, hot stone therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I also hold my second degree Reiki certification in Usui/ Holy Fire II. I have experience in both therapeutic and spa style settings working with many different populations. I believe that massage can support physical and mental wellness and I hope to provide a nourishing environment to do so. 

I found massage therapy after looking for a way to use my hands in a healing and supportive way much like when I used them as a baker and still use them when caring for my gardens. In the way that I cultivate and create nourishment for the body through food, I hope massage can help do the same through therapeutic touch.

I grew up in Southeastern Connecticut and after years of traveling and exploring have found my way back to the area where I live with my husband and dog Lizzie.
